O Lord, repay us not according to the sins we have committed,
nor according to our iniquities.
O Lord, remember not our former iniquities,
let Your mercies speedily prevent us;
for we are become exceeding poor.
Help us, O God, our Savior:
and for the glory of Your Name, O Lord, deliver us:
and forgive us our sins for Your Name's sake.
Blessed Joseph, husband of Mary,
be with us this day.
You protected and cherished the Virgin;
loving the Child Jesus as your Son,
you rescued Him from the danger of death.
Defend the Church,
the household of God,
purchased by the Blood of Christ.
A letter from Missionary Society of St. Columban Superior General Fr. Tim Mulroy:

To Muslims in Aotearoa/New Zealand and around the world
Hail, Joseph, full of grace,
The Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among all men,
And blessed is your foster Child, Jesus.
Holy Joseph, guardian of the Son of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Mercifully look down, we beseech You, O Lord,
upon the devotion of Your people
that they who are mortified in the flesh by abstinence,
may be refreshed in mind by the fruit of good works.
"Na yacamu?" (What is your name?) I got used to being asked this question every time I meet people in the village. I came to the village of Navatuyaba, Toga, in Rewa province, Fiji, where I am having my exposure of the local language and culture. Answering this question usually ends up in my giving them an introduction to my life story.
May the Strength of God guide us.
May the Power of God preserve us.
May the Wisdom of God instruct us.
May the Hand of God protect us.
May the Way of God direct us.
May the Shield of God defend us.
May the Angels of God guard us,
Against the snares of the evil one.
O Mary, our crystal Fountain of Faith,
bathe our minds with the eternal truths!
O fragrant Lily of All Holiness,
captivate our hearts with your heavenly perfume!
O Conqueror of Evil and Death,
inspire in us a deep horror of sin,
which makes the soul detestable to God
and a slave of hell!
O Virgin Mother, we kneel before you
to manifest the sorrow we feel
for the grievances that people cause you,
and to atone by our prayers and sacrifices
for the offenses with which they return your love.
Obtain for them and for us the pardon of so many sins.
Hasten the conversion of sinners
that they may love Jesus
and cease to offend the Lord,
Sport is always a great way to bring people together. This is especially important when you live in a barrio, an area with a high poverty rate, where there are migrants from different countries. With that in mind the young and not-so-young from the various Catholic churches in Alto Hospicio, Chile, gathered for a soccer tournament on Saturday, May 24, 2018.
